Shipping Information

U.S. Orders

Please allow up to 10 business days for your order to be shipped. Most orders go out immediately by U.S. Priority Mail - (3 Day), however, if you would like faster shipping please contact us by email. Overnight Fed-Ex is also available at current rates.  Fee for shipping 1-2 items is $6.75.  Fee for shipping 3 or more items within the U.S. is $12.00.

Canadian Orders

All Canadian orders are shipped Global Priority Express which takes 3-5 business days. The cost ranges from $30.00 (& up) depending on weight of the package. Items shipped to Canada are not insured unless you wish to pay duties and customs taxes.

Rush Orders

There is an additional $25 service charge on all rush orders.

Packaging and Custom Pieces

Gift Packaging

Star Candy Designs beautiful, custom "candy" packaging is provided complimentary on orders of $100 or more. Items under $100 in value are packaged in lovely, white organza pouches with silver stars. If this is a gift and you wish to enclose a gift card, please fill out the appropriate information desired when you check out. Star Candy's beautiful packaging is very versatile! The organza sleeves have many uses: i.e. to store your jewelry in, or, filled with potpourri, soaps, etc., for a lovely scented drawer sachet.

Custom Jewelry

At Star Candy Designs we are available to design custom pieces on request. Custom orders may take up to 8 weeks depending on the complexity of the design. If this is for a wedding or special occassion please be sure to place your order with at least one month's advance notice so that any specialty supplies that are needed to design your piece can be ordered. If you fall in love with a particular piece, but would prefer a different length than what is available, just let us know. Some designs look best at the length they are created, however, others can me adjusted shorter or longer, if desired.

Mother's Bracelets

Please allow three weeks for completion of your Mother's Bracelet, or, a New Mom & Baby Set. It is very important that when you place your order that you fill in sizing information correctly to avoid re-sizing charges.  If at any time you break a strand on your bracelet, there is a $25 re-stringing fee per strand.  The fee to replace a broken toggle or clasp is $30.

Orders and Returns

Return Policy

We will be glad to refund your money for any item that you are not fully satisfied with. The item MUST be returned to Star Candy Designs Jewelry within 15 days of the shipping date in it's original unused condition (including any attached tags and custom packaging). Returns which arrive after 15 days will be subject to a 50% restocking fee. Shipping and handling fees are not refundable. Unfortunately, custom orders cannot be returned or exchanged, however, we will always correct any flaws at our expense.

Please be aware that some of the slight imperfections you may see on natural semi-precious stones and turquoise beads are normal occurrences in nature and items are not returnable for those reasons. We believe they do enhance the beauty of the pieces.

Wholesale Orders

Wholesale orders can be placed by calling (858) 449-4648. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for wholesale deliveries. Star Candy Designs requires a 50% deposit on wholesale orders at the time the order is placed. Remaining balance must be paid in full within 10 days after receipt of your order. A $500 minimum is required for wholesale orders and you must be a retailer to be eligible for wholesale prices.

Care & Cleaning of Star Candy Designs Jewelry

Star Candy Designs Jewelry is made with 92.5 Sterling Silver &/or 14K Gold Filled Findings. Sterling Silver jewelry will turn dark over time due to the natural oxidation process. Please do not use any chemical silver cleaning solutions or dips on your jewelry as this may permanently damage the beads and stones. We recommend "Wright's Silver Polish" which is available at Home Depot Stores throughout the U.S. and Canada. It comes in a light purple paste form. Place a small amount of the paste on a toothbrush and gently hand scrub the silver beads, chain, etc. Rinse the entire piece of jewelry in warm or hot water using the toothbrush to remove any of the paste residue. Lay jewelry on a soft towel or cloth and gently polish it. This will return your jewelry to it's original sparkle and will not hurt the beads or crystals. It will stay beautiful for years to come!
